Miami Valley Community Action Partnership (MVCAP) is seeking an experienced and motivated Weatherization and Housing Services Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) production team. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, regulatory compliance, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service while leading field operations and warehouse functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in weatherization, construction, energy efficiency, or housing rehabilitation and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
As the Weatherization and Housing Services Production Manager, you will:

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Weatherization production department, including field operations, warehouse activities, and production workflow.

Supervise the Field Supervisor and Warehouse Manager, providing coaching, leadership, accountability, and performance management.

Coordinate production schedules, staffing assignments, and workflow to ensure production goals and contractual deadlines are achieved.

Work closely with Energy Auditors, Quality Control Inspectors (QCI), Schedulers, contractors, and administrative staff to ensure projects move efficiently from audit through final inspection.

Visit job sites to monitor quality, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support field personnel.

Ensure compliance with Department of Energy (DOE), HHS, Ohio Department of Development (ODSA), utility provider requirements, OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and agency policies.

Monitor productivity, work quality, safety performance, and operational efficiency while implementing continuous process improvements.

Review production documentation, work orders, inventory tracking, and operational reports for accuracy and compliance.

Support internal and external audits, monitoring reviews, and program inspections.

Promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and proper use of tools, equipment, vehicles, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Assist with departmental planning, workflow improvements, and operational best practices.

Represent MVCAP professionally while collaborating with staff, contractors, community partners, and funding agencies.

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in weatherization, construction, housing rehabilitation, energy efficiency, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience leading teams and managing operations.

Strong knowledge of weatherization practices, residential construction, energy efficiency, and program compliance.

Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and program management software.

Associate degree or technical training in Construction Management, Building Science, Weatherization, Energy Efficiency, Construction Trades, or a related field.

Experience with federally funded weatherization programs and regulatory compliance.

Knowledge of building codes, energy auditing principles, HVAC systems, combustion safety, insulation practices, and diagnostic testing.
