Quail Creek Country Club, a distinguished club with exceptional status is seeking a highly professional, service-driven Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house dining operations. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring every member and guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.

Position Summary
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house dining operations while delivering exceptional service to our distinguished membership. This position provides daily leadership to the dining room team, ensuring outstanding member satisfaction, efficient operations, and flawless execution of daily dining services, private events, and club functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership & Member Experience
· Lead and oversee all dining room operations with a strong focus on member satisfaction and personalized service.
· Maintain a visible, professional, and positive leadership presence throughout all service periods.
· Build strong relationships with members and anticipate their dining preferences and expectations.
· Handle member concerns promptly, professionally, and with sound judgment.
· Foster a culture centered on hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Dining Room Operations
· Oversee the daily operation of all dining outlets, including à la carte dining, outdoor dining, and private events.
· Ensure all dining areas are properly prepared, maintained, and presented according to Club standards.
· Monitor service timing, food quality, presentation, and overall dining experience.
· Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless food execution.
· Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
Staff Leadership & Development
· Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and develop servers, captains, server assistants, food runners, and hosts.
· Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate menus, service expectations, member preferences, and special events.
· Provide ongoing training focused on hospitality, wine service, etiquette, and professional development.
· Maintain consistent grooming, appearance, and uniform standards.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to encourage growth and accountability.
Scheduling & Labor Management
· Create weekly schedules based on reservations, seasonal demand, business levels, and special events.
· Maintain proper staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
· Review and approve employee timesheets.
· Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate labor reporting.
· Assist in the fair and transparent distribution of service charges and gratuities.
· Maintain labor reports and staffing records.
Event Planning & Floor Management
· Design detailed floor plans for dining rooms and private events.
· Coordinate with the Banquet and Events team to execute flawless event setups.
· Adjust layouts to maximize guest experience and operational efficiency.
· Oversee setup, service execution, and event breakdown.
Compliance & Operational Standards
· Ensure compliance with all Florida health, sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
· Maintain ServSafe and sanitation standards throughout all dining operations.
· Uphold all Club policies, procedures, and service expectations.
· Promote a safe, respectful, and positive work environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
· Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of dining room or restaurant management experience in a Country Club.
· Experience in a private country club, luxury hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant preferred.
· Strong leadership experience managing large front-of-house teams.
· Extensive knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette.
· Experience with staff scheduling, labor management, payroll review, and gratuity distribution.
· Strong understanding of banquet and private event operations.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional service standards.
· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal events.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
· Experience working in a private country club environment.
· Knowledge of Jonas POS, scheduling, and payroll systems.
· ServSafe Certification or equivalent.
· Wine knowledge and beverage service experience are a plus.
