Job Overview:

Job Summary**

The Quantum 1 - Laborer (Non-Driver) is an entry-level position responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons and performing general labor duties on various construction and utility projects. This role involves manual tasks, operating hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment, all while working as part of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities**

Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including digging, trenching, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
Assist skilled workers such as pipefitters, electricians, welders, and heavy equipment operators with their daily tasks.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently, as directed.
Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up equipment.
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Spot heavy equipment and vehicles on job sites to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
Flag traffic and pedestrians around construction zones as required.
Participate in daily safety briefings and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to a supervisor immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers.

Job Qualifications**

No prior experience required; willing to train motivated individuals.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
Commitment to safety and adherence to all company and OSHA safety regulations.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites (driving is not a requirement of the job, but reliable transport is essential for attendance).
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as project demands dictate.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
