We are searching for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Brooklyn, NY!
What You’ll Be Doing:
The purpose of the Data Entry Pharmacy Tech is to receive patient and prescription information, and process this information across Micro Merchant database
- Enter and process new and existing patient orders and services into database
- Obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Record activities in the pharmacy database and follow up with Patient Services to ensure data transfer is complete.
We’re Looking For Candidates With:
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification.
- Experience working in a retail or specialty pharmacy environment.
- Knowledge of pharmacy management systems, preferably Micro Merchant.
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing processes, including insurance claims, prior authorizations, and claim troubleshooting.
- Experience with pharmacy purchasing, inventory management, and vendor ordering.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
