Backflow Testing Technician — Raider Rooter
We are seeking a Backflow Testing Technician to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. Raider Rooter is a fast-growing company with significant potential for advancement, and you will be joining an exciting team.

Should your expeience meet our expectations we are happy to provide you support in obtaining your backflow tester certification.
Responsibilities:
- Perform backflow prevention device testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with state and local regulations
- Test, repair, and maintain backflow prevention assemblies at residential and commercial properties
- Complete and submit accurate backflow test reports and documentation to the appropriate water utility or governing authority
- Identify deficiencies in backflow assemblies and recommend necessary repairs or replacements to clients
- Maintain thorough and organized records of all tests performed and results obtained
- Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, and municipal contacts regarding testing schedules, results, and compliance requirements
- Maintain all testing equipment in proper working condition, ensuring calibration and certification is up to date
- Maintain vehicle inventory, cleanliness, and organization as well as practice safe driving habits
- Follow all current regulations, safety protocols, and company procedures on every job site
- Provide information regarding backflow prevention system upkeep and compliance to clients
Requirements:
- Valid Backflow Tester Certification in the State of Florida (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable using electronic dispatching and reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate test reports
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of backflow testing experience
- 1–2 years of plumbing experience
- Familiarity with local water utility reporting requirements and compliance procedures
