Position Summary:
Petauri Advisors is seeking a U.S.-based Consultant to join our Market Access team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a group of experienced pricing and access professionals, lead project execution, and deliver high-impact solutions to clients across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Consultant, you will lead or support the delivery of strategic projects across a variety of engagements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Project Execution:
- Leading the day-to-day execution of market access and pricing engagements under minimal Partner oversight.
- Designing and managing primary research efforts (e.g., payer or stakeholder interviews), with support from Analysts or Senior Analysts.
- Conducting in-depth secondary research to develop therapeutic area expertise and inform client deliverables.
- Leading the development of client-ready materials, including payer landscapes, pricing assessments, financial models, discussion guides, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Providing final quality control on deliverables and supporting development of tools and templates for internal use.
- Contributing to internal knowledge sharing by tracking key market access developments.
Project Management:
- Acting as the project lead on select engagements, overseeing timelines, budgets, and client communications.
- Managing and organizing key project documentation (SOWs, trackers, invoicing, etc.) in accordance with internal protocols.
- Monitoring project costs (e.g., recruitment fees, honoraria, third-party vendors) and ensuring adherence to project budgets.
- Delegating and overseeing workstreams managed by junior staff.
Strategic Growth:
- Leading training and onboarding initiatives for junior staff.
- Participating in new business activities including proposal development and pitch materials.
- Supporting innovation in market access tools, research methodologies, and project frameworks.
- Regularly monitoring payer and policy trends to inform client recommendations and internal thought leadership.
Travel:
- Expected attendance at key external client meetings, including kickoffs, interim readouts, and final presentations.
- Occasional travel for internal meetings such as business planning and team offsites.
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
