Sales Account Executive – Recruiting & Talent Strategy

Reports to: Vice President of Growth

Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact, results-driven Sales Account Executive to accelerate new business growth within the recruiting and talent strategy space. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing net-new clients who are seeking innovative solutions across talent acquisition, workforce planning, and recruiting transformation.

This is a hunting role designed for a proactive sales professional who thrives on building pipelines, opening doors, and delivering measurable revenue growth. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of talent challenges facing modern organizations and can position strategic recruiting solutions as a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a primary focus on net-new logo acquisition
Develop and execute strategic outbound sales plans targeting mid-market and enterprise organizations
Generate a consistent pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement
Identify client pain points related to talent acquisition, recruiting operations, and workforce planning

Consultative Selling

Position recruiting and talent strategy offerings as business-critical solutions tied to growth, scalability, and performance
Lead discovery conversations with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to uncover strategic needs
Craft customized proposals and solutions leveraging recruiting services, workforce strategy, and advisory capabilities
Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with service delivery

Relationship Building & Market Presence

Establish credibility as a trusted advisor within the HR, Talent, and People leadership community
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

Revenue & Performance Management

Achieve and exceed individual revenue and pipeline targets
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility within CRM systems
Continuously refine go-to-market strategies based on results and feedback

Qualifications

Required Experience

5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in:
Recruiting services (RPO, staffing, executive search)
Talent strategy consulting or HR solutions
Workforce transformation or related services
Proven success in a hunter role, with a strong track record of acquiring new clients
Experience selling into HR, Talent Acquisition, or executive-level stakeholders

Core Competencies

Strong consultative and solutions-based selling approach
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex talent challenges into actionable solutions
Highly self-motivated with a drive for achievement and accountability

Preferred

Experience selling professional services solutions
Existing network within HR and talent leadership communities
Familiarity with talent acquisition technology, workforce analytics, or HR tech ecosystems

Key Success Metrics

New logo acquisition and revenue generation
Pipeline development and conversion rates
Sales cycle length and deal size
Client satisfaction and long-term relationship potential
