Full Job Description

POSITION / DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance Inspector Level I (Final & In-Process) LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA

SHIFT: Day shift: 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM or 7:00AM –5:30PM,

Monday - Thursday

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and quality requirements.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Review manufacturing travelers, inspection records, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Identify, document, and report nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
Follow company quality procedures, safety policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

0–1 year of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience with electronic and mechanical assemblies preferred.
Knowledge of proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices preferred.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and AS9100D Quality Management System requirements is a plus.
Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
