Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical trade! This paid apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning experience, where you'll work alongside seasoned electricians on diverse construction projects. Your role will be vital in assisting with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety standards are met. If you're eager to develop your skills in both commercial and industrial electrical systems, this is the perfect opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to exciting projects. We’re looking for motivated individuals ready to learn, collaborate, and build a solid foundation in electrical work.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and diagnose issues.
Support the preparation of construction sites by framing carpentry and other related tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment is highly desirable.
Construction site experience provides a solid foundation for understanding safety procedures and project workflows.
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, low voltage systems, and NEC standards will set you apart.
Experience with high voltage systems or working on construction projects involving framing carpentry is a plus.
Ability to operate testing devices like ohmmeters confidently for troubleshooting purposes.
Prior exposure to construction or electrical environments helps accelerate your learning curve in this apprenticeship program.
