A rapidly growing healthcare organization specializing in clinical research is seeking a strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support multiple locations across California and Denver. This highly visible leadership role partners closely with executive leadership and corporate HR to drive employee engagement, strengthen employee relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support organizational growth across a multi-site healthcare environment. Ideal candidates will bring experience supporting organizations within clinical research, healthcare, oncology, or other highly regulated healthcare settings.
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic, hands-on HR leader supporting managers and employees across multiple healthcare and clinical research locations. This role is responsible for employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compliance, organizational development, talent initiatives, and change management while ensuring alignment with company policies, values, and operational objectives.
- Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for site leadership and employees across multiple healthcare and clinical research locations.

Provide strategic and operational HR support with a strong emphasis on employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership partnership.

Partner with operational leadership to assess workforce needs and develop HR strategies that align with business objectives and organizational growth.

Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compensation support, leaves of absence, employee relations, and offboarding.

Coach and advise managers on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, performance management, and leadership development.

Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee relations issues in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, with strong expertise in California labor law.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and HR leadership to support recruiting, retention, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

Lead organizational change management efforts and support enterprise-wide HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support strategic decision-making.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture that reflects organizational values.

Build strong partnerships with employees, managers, executive leadership, and corporate HR teams.

Represent the organization professionally while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

- Hybrid work environment with onsite responsibilities at the Century City, Los Angeles office.

Daily computer use with extended periods of sitting or standing.

Must be able to commute regularly to the Los Angeles office.

Travel up to 15%, primarily throughout California, with occasional travel to other U.S. locations.

Flexible schedule may be required to support business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting multi-site organizations, with at least 5 years serving in an HR Business Partner capacity.

Strong background supporting organizations within healthcare, clinical research, oncology, life sciences, or other highly regulated environments strongly preferred.

Subject matter expertise in California employment law is required.

Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.

Excellent communication, coaching, consulting, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Strong judgment with the ability to navigate sensitive and complex employment matters.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Experience utilizing HRIS/HCM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
