TECC Electrical Contractors is seeking highly qualified Electrical Superintendents and Commercial Journeyman Electricians with proven experience in commercial construction projects. This position requires leadership ability, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial electrical installations from rough-in through trim-out, and the ability to lead a crew of 2–10 electricians and helpers effectively. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both field expertise and supervisory capability.
PLEASE NOTE: THE MAJORITY OR OUR PROJECTS RANGE FROM VOLUSIA, SEMINOLE, AND ORANGE COUNTY. PLEASE BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO OUR SHOP IN WESTERN VOLUSIA COUNTY OR THE JOBSITE DAILY.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2–10 electricians and helpers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
- Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower effectively.
- Installation of conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC up to 4”), pull wire, install panels, fixtures, and other electrical devices.
- Test and repair electrical components and systems.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, project specifications, and company safety standards.
- Maintain productivity and quality while meeting project deadlines.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with Project Managers and other trades.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience (lead experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of NEC codes.
- Must be dependable, on time, hardworking and motivated!
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a field crew.
- Proficiency with, and own, hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to read and fully understand blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred (not required).
- Must be able to obtain JLA badging.
- Pass a background check
- Meet Jessica Lunsford Act requirements
