Job Overview:
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Equipment Technicians to support equipment maintenance operations in a solar panel manufacturing facility. Technicians in this role are crucial to ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and minimizing downtime.
Schedule:
Training: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (up to 3 months)
After Training: 6PM-6:10AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Pay: $24.00/hr Base + $1.00 (Night shift Differential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on ingot manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures, perform timely repairs, and restore operational stability.
- Identify required parts, manage inventory levels, and request replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions.
- Follow all safety regulations, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support troubleshooting efforts during production interruptions to help restore equipment quickly.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and production personnel to support continuous operation.
- Participate in shift pass-downs to ensure seamless communication across incoming and outgoing shifts.
- Assist with improvement activities aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support departmental and operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
- Up to 5 years of experience in equipment or facilities maintenance.
- Ability to read and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing (Solar, Semiconductor, or Automotive).
- Experience maintaining automated equipment, CNC machinery, or PLC-controlled systems.

Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P): Mastery of strict safety regulations (SOPs), meticulous documentation, and high-pressure troubleshooting.
HVAC Technician: Experience with electrical/mechanical systems, diagnostic testing, and physical labor in varied environments.
Warehouse Lead or Supervisor: Developed skills in shift pass-downs, team collaboration, and inventory management.
Diesel Mechanic: Heavy-duty mechanical labor, lifting requirements (up to 50 lbs), and maintenance of large-scale equipment.
Data Center Technician: Proficiency in continuous operation support, emergency troubleshooting, and technical communication.
Medical Equipment Repairer: High standards for precision, technical literacy, and working within specialized clean or regulated environments.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic , Plant Maintenance Technician , or Facility Engineer.
Maintenance of Manufacturing Machinery: CNC Service Technician , Production Line Mechanic , or Semiconductor Equipment Engineer.
Hands-on Mechanical Work: Millwright , Heavy Equipment Mechanic , or Industrial Pipefitter.
Schematic Interpretation & Electrical Systems: Control Systems Technician , Panel Builder , or Industrial Electrician.
Inventory & Documentation Management: Maintenance Planner , Parts Coordinator , or Maintenance Clerk.
