Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) – Flexible Hybrid Schedule
Erica Wiley PhD LLC is seeking a thoughtful, skilled, and independently licensed mental health therapist to join a growing private practice in State College, Pennsylvania.
This full-time W-2 position is designed for a clinician who values excellent care, professional autonomy, and a sustainable work-life balance. The clinician will have substantial freedom to create their own schedule while receiving the stability of a salary, benefits, administrative support, and performance-based earning potential.
About the Practice
Erica Wiley PhD LLC is a growing outpatient mental health practice located within the Heartwood Independent Practitioners professional community. Our work is grounded in integrity, clinical excellence, and balance. We believe clinicians do their best work when they have meaningful support and the freedom to develop a schedule and clinical style that are sustainable for them.
As an early member of a growing practice, the selected clinician will have the opportunity to help shape the culture of the organization and build a long-term professional home.
Compensation
- $58,000 annual base salary
- Bonus equal to 35% of collections received for completed sessions exceeding 80 sessions in a calendar month
- Full-time W-2 employment
- Regular compensation and benefits reviews as the clinician and practice grow
Productivity Expectations
The position carries an expectation of 80 completed client sessions per month, generally averaging approximately 20 sessions per week.
Productivity is reviewed monthly, with reasonable consideration given to approved PTO, paid holidays, clinician onboarding, referral availability, client cancellations, illness, and other circumstances outside the clinician’s reasonable control.
Flexible, Self-Directed Scheduling
Clinicians have substantial autonomy in determining when they see clients and complete their work. There is no standard 9-to-5 schedule.
Clinicians may arrange their weekly schedules according to their preferences, provided they maintain high-quality client care, complete documentation and administrative responsibilities, meet productivity expectations, participate in required meetings, and maintain agreed-upon in-office availability.
This flexibility allows clinicians to arrange appointments across the month in a way that supports both their clients and their lives. For example, a clinician who fulfills their responsibilities within four working days would not be expected to use PTO simply because they did not schedule appointments on the fifth weekday.
Benefits
- 15 days of paid time off annually, accrued throughout the year
- Paid major holidays
- Up to $200 per month toward eligible healthcare expenses through the practice’s established benefit arrangement
- $1,000 annual continuing-education allowance
- Two paid continuing-education days annually
- Reimbursement of professional license-renewal expenses
- Employer-paid professional liability insurance
- Flexible, self-directed scheduling
- Hybrid in-person and telehealth work
- Administrative, billing, credentialing, and referral support
The practice is committed to reviewing and thoughtfully expanding compensation and benefits as the organization develops. Future changes will be informed by practice performance, financial sustainability, market conditions, and the clinician’s performance and contributions to the practice.
