IT Recruiter
Winston Staffing has a long term contract assignment for an experienced IT Recruiter. This position will support Workday Implementation CEMI Backfills, with a primary focus on recruiting for IT-related positions. The role, this for a temporary, hybrid assignment in New York, NY 10022. This IT Recruiter opportunity offers $36–$40/hour with weekly pay, working 35–40 hours per week.
The IT Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment for IT positions including Help Desk Support, Software Developers, Application Specialists, Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, and other technical roles. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to fill critical openings.
Job Description for IT Recruiter:
- Develops and uses proven, cost-effective recruitment strategies to screen, recruit and place employees
- Consults with hiring managers regarding newly posted positions
- Drafts advertisements and recommends advertising sources
- Partners with hiring managers to write appropriate job descriptions
- Facilitates and participates in panel interviews with candidates, hiring managers and other hiring constituents. Serves as primary contact for the candidate throughout the process.
- Ensures all internal and external applicants comply with institutional and governmental employment requirements.
- Meets with internal applicants regarding transfers/promotional opporutnities

Requirements for IT Recruiter:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of full-cycle IT recruiting experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
