We are looking for a Title Curative for an industry-leading specialty law firm in Phoenix, where you'll collaborate with top-tier professionals representing financial institutions, investors, and businesses in cutting-edge legal matters related to mortgage banking, real estate finance, and title insurance. Our client offers a dynamic and supportive environment, fostering career growth while working on impactful cases in a thriving and specialized legal field. The Title Curative is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Reviewing Title Reports.
- Reviewing date-down endorsements provided by the Title Company.
- Reviewing the Affidavit of Authority for accuracy.
- Reviewing the chain of titles, particularly for assignment accuracy.
- Demonstrating the ability to review Bankruptcy Cases.
- Demonstrating the ability to read and understand title chains.
- Demonstrating the ability to review Parcel Maps.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
- A high school diploma or higher.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and multitask; must type at least 50 words per minute.
- Experience in the mortgage industry, foreclosure, escrow, or title.
- Knowledge of mortgage documents, loan documentation, appraisals, and related materials.
- Proficiency with computers, including Excel spreadsheets.
- General office experience, including copying, filing, and answering phones.
Pay Rate Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
