Full Job Description

Diversity-Vuteq is an automotive supplier for a major automotive manufacturer located in Blue Springs, MS.

D-V is currently looking for production workers. We are looking for a strong team player with order picking and light sub assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This position requires a fair amount of bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, and reaching to complete daily tasks, standing and walking for most of the day and repetitive movements. The job itself is picking, sorting and prepping a variety of auto parts and get them ready for the assembly line.

Hours: We offer two shifts only, applicant must pick the shift that works best for there immediate need.

Day Shift: (Monday- Friday: 6:30 am - 3:15 pm) + Overtime and every other Saturday.
Night Shift (Monday-Thursday 6:30 pm - 5:15 am) + Overtime and every other Friday night.

Overtime is mandatory and can be 15 mins up to 3 hours. May have to work some confirmation Sundays.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

Ensure Safety & Quality Rules are always followed
Ensure work area is free and clean from debris
Properly package and handle parts as prescribed
Perform the required color/quality visual inspections
Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper location
Understanding of the product, knowing the function of the product, and any potential product defects that can adversely affect the function, application, or overall quality of the product
Keep accurate documentation during the production run
Inspect parts during production run
Always keep workstation clean and tidy utilizing 5S
Perform other duties as requested.

Required Skills

Ability to follow standard work instructions
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read and write
Strong attention to detail.
Must be dependable with Excellent Attendance
Analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities
Must possess strong organizational skills
Must be able to comprehend work instructions and information furnished in written, oral or diagram

Education and Experience

High School Diploma Preferred
Experience in Order Picking a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.15 per hour
