Full Job Description

Data Center A-Technician

The Data Center A-Technician shall be able to perform all types of data center construction, maintenance and troubleshooting. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with customers at a high-level and be able to manage all workflow independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install and configure supports and raceways for cabling pathways. This includes strut, threaded rod, basket tray, beam clamps, sleeves, grounding, firestop and mounting hardware.
Have the ability to layout job tasks for themselves as well as subordinate employees, have the ability to work independent as well as supervise up to four (4) Class B-Technicians and/or Class C-Technicians. This includes managing work orders, bid documents, time sheets and all administrative paperwork required to successfully complete project scope, including updating as-built information where applicable.
Have the ability to read and interpret bid documents, drawings, RFI’s and all other documents required to perform job.
Have the ability to develop material lists by description and part number, interact with vendors to order and track required materials.
Have the ability to communicate with project managers and clients at a high level. This may include presenting progress reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of five (5) years' data center experience.
Ability to work independently without supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 64 per week
