Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our HR department in managing various human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing employee experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving community by facilitating effective HR processes and fostering positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

Support onboarding processes by preparing employee materials and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.
Maintain accurate HR data entry in HRIS
Aid in benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation.
Help organize training & development programs and assist with performance management initiatives.
Support employee relations efforts by addressing routine inquiries and facilitating conflict management resolutions.
Contribute to compliance activities including FMLA administration, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and adherence to employment & labor law.

Qualifications

Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of employment law, Workers' compensation procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Prior experience supporting talent acquisition, employee evaluation, training & development or benefits administration is preferred but not required.
