Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient dispatching of incoming calls. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to utilize various transportation management systems effectively. The Senior Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating runs, managing fleet operations, and optimizing patient care processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely emergent and non-emergent patient transfers.
Utilize GPS and related technology to track various units locations and manage routes.
Analyze transportation data to identify trends and improve efficiency in dispatching.
Communicate effectively with Medics, clients, and partners via phone and email.
Manage incoming workflow, ensuring compliance with services policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and provide reports as needed.
Train and mentor junior dispatch staff on best practices in dispatching and transportation management.

Experience

Proven experience in dispatching or transportation management roles.
Familiarity with EMS dispatch and fleet management practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
EMS dispatch experience is a MUST.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
