Gaming Associate

San Jose, CA | Full-Time | $23–25/hour

This full-time, hands-on role is perfect for students on break, recent grads, or anyone looking for long-term work that keeps you sharp and offers growth. As a Gaming Associate, your role involves close collaboration with casino personnel and dealers - handling casino chips, verifying game fairness and accuracy, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity. You'll help foster exceptional customer service by nurturing a positive and professional environment for both guests and colleagues.

Hours & Availability

Schedule & Shift Details

Work Schedule: Full-time only. 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift (3 days off each week).
Weekend Requirements: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is required.
Shifts: Be prepared to work late-night and overnight hours.
Training Schedule: Mon–Fri, 12pm–8pm.

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Proficient in mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Open availability for the casino's 24/7 hours of operation
Ability to pass a lifetime background check, credit check, and drug screen for state licensure

Physical

Physical Requirements

Able to sit or stand at a gaming table for 3–4 hours at a time
Able to use hands and fingers in a dexterous manner (rotating wrists, grabbing, pulling, pushing, pinching, tapping)
Able to lift 5–10 pounds for chip management and bank reconciliation (varies by location)
Able to see, speak, and hear clearly during gameplay
Necessary vision capabilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
Comfortable with direct communication and giving corrections when needed
Able to stay focused and manage stress effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

How It Works

Interview Process

We aim to ensure each person that joins the team is the right fit for Knighted — and that Knighted is the right fit for you.

Initial Interview 30 minutes
A conversation with a recruiter to talk through your experience, fit, and complete a brief math assessment.

Final Interview 30–45 minutes
A deeper conversation to confirm mutual fit before an offer is extended.

Orientation 3–4 hours
Selected candidates complete orientation before training begins.
