Full Job Description

Corry Manufacturing Company is looking for team members who have a desire to be trained and to learn various functions in the process of producing components for the Aerospace and Land Turbine industries in Corry, PA!

Team members will be trained in one or more areas throughout the plant including fitment, parts moving, grinding, polishing parts, deburr, resistance tacking, Robot Weld operation and press operation. Experience in Tig Welding, Heat Treating, and furnace operation are also needed. You will be responsible for the tasks associated with the processes specific to your position. You will be responsible for learning and operating a variety of equipment to ensure the quality of the product. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn and quickly become an integral part of a well established team. Starting compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications for specific job openings.

Requirements:
Must be legal to work in the United States and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical ability to perform tasks with a minimum of supervision.
Willingness to follow directions and work under supervision.
Mechanical or Technical ability to understand and operate machinery
Keep work area and machine clean.
May need to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities:
Operate equipment such as grinders, presses, polishers, tack resistance machines, benders, hand tools, alloy aplicators and other bench equipment as necessary.

Set-up, make changes and adjust tooling or equipment as necessary to insure quality production
Use drawings, blueprints, set-up sheets, gauges, procedures, measuring instruments and instructions to set up and operate equipment specific to assigned job
Work closely with other employees as part of a team effort in order to meet production goals on a daily basis.
Make periodic checks of work to assure quality standards are met and obtain inspection or superviors approval as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
