Full Job Description

Job Summary

Tallulah Falls School is seeking an experienced part-time bus driver for activities and regular daily route, approximately 15-29 hours per week. Tallulah Falls School is willing to train and invest for qualified persons to obtain Class B with required P/S endorsements.

Duties:

Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
Ensure the bus is in good working condition before and after each trip
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries
Keep accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
CDL
Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical exam, drug and alcohol testing
Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions and traffic situations
Proficient in reading and writing for route maps and communication purposes
Experience working with children is a plus
Knowledge of behavior management techniques for passenger interactions
Registered with the Drug & Alcohol Clearing House for CDL Drivers
