Assistant Community Manager needed at Capstone Management Services, Inc. apply to join our team!

Assistant Community Manager role includes:

Full time w/ *employer paid* benefits.
Weekends required.
Pay will depend on experience.
Required to pass a drug and background screening.
Professional appearance is required.

Job Summary
The Assistant Community Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for assisting the property manager in the overall day to day operations
Assumes responsibility in the absence of the property manager
Responsible for collecting and posting rent payments
Managing resident delinquencies
Evictions
Legal notices
Performing accounting month end closing processes
Maintains all accounts receivable
Maintaining balanced, accurate daily, weekly and monthly financial reports
Conducts market surveys
Leases apartments as needed
Audits all new and current lease agreements and resident files for accuracy
Assists with training team members on leasing, entering traffic into the computer, marketing, maintenance, and general office operations
Composes and prepares routine correspondence, rental notices, and other letters
Assists the property manager in resident relations and problem resolution
Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current residents, and promotes a quality living experience for all residents
Knowledge in fair housing and landlord-tenant laws is required

Assistant Community Manager must possess the following skills or knowledge.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to make quick and effective decisions.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
Ability to maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.
Ability to set, manage and meet goals and deadlines.
Ability to close a sale.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to use a computer proficiently, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher and accounting software. Resman experience is a bonus.
Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, scanner, fax machine, printer, and copier.

Assistant Community Manager Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Residential leasing or management of at least 1 year experience is required.
