Full Job Description

Team Leader – Inkster, MI

The overall purpose of the Team Leader for the wastewater operations is to monitor and maintain all operational aspects of the wastewater treatment facility.

Job Duties:

Operate wastewater treatment equipment and ensure all phases of the recycling process are being performed efficiently and effectively
Assist with directing plant operators during the assigned shift
Assist management with tasks and special projects
Maintain daily and weekly records as required
Inspect all wastewater treatment equipment, tanks, pumps, etc.
Drive and maintain housekeeping duties
Follow and drive safety policies and practices
Perform other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of wastewater treatment experience a plus
3+ years of leadership experience a plus
Carry/lift over 50 pounds
Standing for long periods of time
Operating heavy machinery
