Full Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) cabinets accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has experience with woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture assembly and takes pride in producing a finished product that meets company specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble RTA kitchen, bathroom, and specialty cabinets according to manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
Read and interpret assembly instructions, work orders, and technical drawings.
Install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, handles, shelf pins, and other cabinet components.
Inspect materials for defects prior to assembly and report damaged or missing parts.
Verify measurements and ensure cabinets are square, level, and structurally sound.
Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly equipment safely.
Package completed cabinets for delivery or installation, ensuring products are protected from damage.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with inventory control, material handling, and shop organization as needed.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience assembling RTA cabinets, cabinetry, furniture, or woodworking products preferred.
Ability to read measuring tapes accurately and perform basic math calculations.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; team lifting for heavier items.
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cabinet manufacturing or millwork.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
Knowledge of cabinet hardware and installation methods.
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
