Job Summary

Must have previous dog handling, doggie daycare or kennel experience

Friendly Paws Pet Resort is looking for dog lovers to join our team! This person must be responsible, hard working, and dedicated aligning with our positive and upbeat culture. This person must be dedicated and understand the importance of properly caring for dogs.

This job entails monitoring the play yard for our doggie daycare program as well as overnight boarding guests. Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, cannot be afraid of any dog breeds or have any allergies to dogs. Must be detail oriented and organized and be able to effectively communicate to staff and customers to ensure all dogs are taken care of correctly.

This person must have their own reliable means of transportation and be willing to work in any type of weather.

The job can require handling large breed dogs and physical tasks, so this person must be able to be on their feet for several hours and have the ability to lift larger amounts of weight.

Responsibilities and Duties

The job dutes include, but are not limited to:

- Monitoring the play yard to ensure all dogs are getting along and separated accordingly

- Poop scooping play yards

- Cleaning kennels for overnight boarders

- Feeding/Watering for overnight boarders

- Cleaning and disinfecting of all areas inside the facility

- Checking dogs in/out

- Assessing all areas occupied by dogs to ensure they meet the safety protocol standard instituted by Friendly Paws.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous dog handling, doggie daycare or kennel experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
