Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise will help foster positive relationships, ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and contribute to the overall success of our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales skills with administrative excellence while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective residents warmly, providing comprehensive tours of available apartments and community amenities.
Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application approval, including data entry into Elise AI and Resman software.
Explain lease terms, contracts, and legal requirements clearly, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws.
Conduct thorough background checks and verify income documentation,
Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, resident files, and correspondence through organized filing systems and data management tools.
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professional phone etiquette and conflict management skills.
Upsell available units or additional services to maximize occupancy rates while maintaining integrity and transparency.
Collaborate with maintenance teams on property upkeep and coordinate lease renewals or extensions efficiently.
Assist in resolving tenant issues related to property maintenance or administrative concerns while adhering to landlord-tenant law.
Saturday work required.

Experience

Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles.
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and legal administrative procedures related to leasing.
Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation and conflict management abilities.
Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and general administrative tasks.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
