Full Job Description

CSI Companies is seeking Patient Financial Services Representatives to support self-pay patients with billing, insurance, payment, and account-related questions in a high-volume healthcare call center environment. Candidates should be available to start as early as possible, with training beginning early to mid-August and a target go-live date of October 1

Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid (Monroe, WA)

Onsite Training is required; hybrid work expected after training with some remote flexibility considered on an as needed basis

Pay: $25-29/hr. based on relevant experience, education, and credentials
Position Type: W-2 Contract to Hire

What you’ll do:

Handle inbound patient calls regarding billing, payments, insurance, and account questions
Explain EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and insurance processing
Assist patients with payment arrangements and financial assistance options
Update account, demographic, and insurance information
Document interactions and complete assigned follow-up activities
Meet call center productivity and quality expectations

What we’re looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior Healthcare customer service experience, ideally in a call center
Ability to handle a high volume daily (~60 calls)
Experience working in Epic and Webex
Comfortable discussing healthcare billing and insurance-related questions with ability to discuss
- Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Insurance processing
- Patient billing questions

Nite to Have:

Prior Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, Medical Billing, or Patient Access experience

The ideal candidate is local to the Monroe, WA area and available to attend onsite training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. They thrive in a fast-paced call center environment, bring a strong customer service mindset, and are comfortable discussing healthcare billing, insurance processing, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and patient account questions. Successful candidates will be able to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy, and they will be available to start quickly and complete the full 6–8 week training program.
