Full Job Description

Summary:

This is not a Remote position. Position is in person in Shelby Township, Michigan offices. No Relocation package is offered. No Visa sponsorship is offered.

This position is for an individual who wants to pursue a career in Automotive OEM Tier 1 Sales.

The position is full-time on site in Zhongli North America's brand-new Shelby Township, Michigan Headquarters. This is not a Remote position. No Relocation package is offered. No Visa Sponsorship is offered. This position is for an individual who wants to pursue a career in OEM & Tier 1 sales. The Sales Coordinator position will be responsible for assisting and supporting Sales activities with the Sales Team. Those Sales activities include managing current business, targeting & pursuing new business, enhancing profitability, and overall customer satisfaction at Automotive OEM and Tier accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities:

Daily management of RFQ's thru the entire process from receipt of RFQ, Cost Eliminating, Quotation Strategy, Management Approval, Quoting, to Sourcing Decision.
Assist in preparing Sales customer proposals/quotations, in compliance with ZLC-NA Quotation Procedure, to decision-makers in customer Purchasing and Engineering roles.
Entering Quotation information and supporting documents into customer portals.
Regularly prepare documents for Sales meetings with customers. When involved in customer meetings, develop positive relationships with key contacts at account site(s)
Assist Sales efforts to network within customer organizations to create awareness of Zhongli North America's products, capabilities, and resources.
Support Sales Staff in managing all commercial aspects of current business programs
To ensure all customer requirements and milestones are met.
To ensure all Pricing, Tooling, Obsolescence, and other commercial issues are resolved successfully.
Assist Sales to Identify, Target, Secure new business opportunities that result in a request quotation.
Assist Sales to enhance company profitability by proactively addressing all commercial issues.
Assist Sales to manage overall customer satisfaction as Sales Staff is the primary liaison between Zhongli North America and the customer.
Assist Sales in executing Zhongli North America Sales strategy while achieving personal KPI's.
Provide Voice of the Customer feedback to the organization.
Regularly use Zhongli Share Drives, Stellantis eSupplier portal, other customer portals, 123Go, S&P Mobility Global etc, to perform job.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education/Experience:

BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, or Automotive Technology. MBA would be a plus.
Experience: three or more years of related work experience in a combination of Automotive Engineering, Sales, and Program Management roles.
Customer Experience: Automotive OEM and/or Tier 1, preferably with or interfacing with Stellantis.
Product Experience: Chassis and Suspension components.
Other Requirements: Effective communicator via written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills. Self-starter and able to work independently. Automotive industry knowledge and passion. Successful experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, complex team environment.
