Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a fine dining environment. As a Dining Room Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service.
Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy service periods.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
