Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to oversee our distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, managing inventory control, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills and expertise in transportation planning, materials management, and logistics.

Duties

Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.
Coordinate transportation planning to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.
Implement effective materials management strategies to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline distribution processes.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse associate or a related field is essential.
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and practices, particularly in a distribution center environment.
Familiarity with transportation management principles and logistics operations is preferred.
Experience with materials management processes and best practices is highly desirable.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
