Senior Software Engineer - C#.NET

Woodbury, MN (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Full-Time | $110,000-$130,000

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and support the backend systems and APIs that power both internal platforms and customer-facing applications. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys building scalable solutions, improving system reliability, and partnering with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

In this role, you will develop and maintain high-performance backend services using C#, build and support RESTful APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standards, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code quality. You will contribute to system modernization efforts, drive architectural improvements, optimize application performance, and support integrations with both internal systems and third-party vendors. The position also involves troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with business and product stakeholders, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to fellow team members.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the evolution of critical technology platforms while influencing technical direction and engineering best practices. You'll work with a collaborative team focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement while helping build solutions that have a direct impact on the business and its customers.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in backend development with C#
Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable software solutions
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Technical Environment

C#, .NET, and ASP.NET
REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger
PostgreSQL and other relational databases
IIS, Windows Server, and containerized services
GitHub
Virtualized and container-based deployment environments
AI-powered software development tools
React experience is a plus
