Full Job Description

Reports To: Head of Accounting

Job Function Summary:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable across all Oysters Rock Hospitality entities and the Shuckin’ Good Cause Fund 501(c)(3), ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments and AP operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle AP across all ORH entities including invoice receipt, coding, and payment runs.
Manage vendor relationships, communication, and file maintenance.
Prepare EOM check signing packages with invoice compilation and operator Q&A.
Ensure GL coding accuracy prior to Head of Accounting or Staff Accountant review.
Support month-end close with timely AP cutoff and documentation.
Log and route daily invoice receipts via email and SharePoint into R365.
Coordinate daily with the Staff Accountant and Head of Accounting on workflow continuity.
Review daily bank activity across all entities to verify transaction accuracy and flag any unauthorized or unrecognized charges.
Maintain and update company credit card credentials, assigned cardholders, and location designations across all ORH entities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Associate degree minimum with bachelor’s degree preferred.
1–2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
Hospitality, restaurant, or multi-entity environment experience a strong consideration.
Experience with R365 or similar accounting software preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal team members.
Ability to effectively communicate and manage tasks via Microsoft Office, Teams, Asana, and other digital platforms.

Compensation

Salary range for this role is $50,000 - $56,000 commensurate with experience
Paid time off including 10 vacation days in year one
