Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Automotive Payroll Clerk to join our Corporate team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dealerships payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and expediate processing times.

MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE OR DEALERSHIP BACKGROUND TO QUALIFY. Dealertrack and Employee Navigator experience a plus.

Payroll Processing

Process weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, flat-rate, and commissioned employees.

Employee Records & Benefits

Update Information: Regularly update master payroll records for changes/corrections to departments/allocations for wages, etc.
Benefits Administration: Update and maintain information on new hires and rehires/transfers in Benefit portal.

Compliance & Accounting

Legal Compliance: Monitor adherence to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and local labor laws.
Account Reconciliation: Balance payroll accounts and HSA and 401K schedules with benefit providers and prepare payroll journal entries for the accounting department.
Audit Support: Prepare reports to support month-end, quarter-end, and annual internal or corporate reporting.

Support & Customer Service

Address Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve payroll errors, missing hours, or payment disputes.
Employee Inquiries: Serve as the point of contact for staff questions regarding paychecks, tax withholding, and benefit deductions.
Confidentiality: Safeguard highly sensitive employee financial and personal information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
