Full Job Description

Customer Service Representative

Our client in Austell, Ga has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative. We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-focused individual to support our office operations. This position combines administrative support, customer service, and purchasing responsibilities while serving as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal team members.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service
Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors professionally.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Process customer requests and provide order updates.
Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate department.
Maintain positive customer relationships.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to management and office staff.
Schedule meetings and maintain calendars.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
File and maintain electronic and paper records.
Assist with office supply inventory and ordering.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
Support special projects as assigned.

Purchasing Responsibilities:

Create and process purchase orders.
Obtain vendor quotes and compare pricing.
Coordinate with suppliers on deliveries and order status.
Maintain vendor records and purchasing documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and accounting.
Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
Assist with cost-saving initiatives and purchasing process improvements.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, purchasing, or related office environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
Experience with ERP systems, purchasing software, or QuickBooks is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Customer service in a manufacturing, distribution, or business-to-business environment.
Purchasing or procurement experience.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
