Job Overview

IOK (The Institute of Knowledge) is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Remote HR Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide essential administrative support to the Human Resources department, contributing directly to our mission of fostering a finer future through high-quality Islamic educational programming. The successful candidate will be a highly organised individual, capable of handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality while supporting the day-to-day functions that help our organisation thrive. This role offers a competitive salary of $45 - $55 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in our HR information systems.
Assist with the entire recruitment cycle, including posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth integration into the organisation.
Act as a first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and reports.
Support the organisation and coordination of staff training and development events.
Handle general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, data entry, and scheduling meetings for the HR department.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an HR administrative or similar support role.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Familiarity with HR software and systems (HRIS) would be an advantage.
A qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable but not essential.
An appreciation for the mission and values of our educational and community-focused organisation.
