Our programs include rent and mortgage assistance, food support, pre-purchase home buying education, credit and budget counseling, and quality early childhood education through our early learning center.

Overview

St. Martin Early Learning Center is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and personable Recruiter to lead employee recruitment efforts while supporting family enrollment and community outreach. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our center is fully staffed with qualified educators and that prospective families receive exceptional support throughout the enrollment process.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Recruitment

Develop and manage job postings across multiple hiring platforms, including Indeed.
Source, screen, and communicate with qualified candidates.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain applicant tracking records and hiring documentation.
Conduct employment reference checks.
Coordinate onboarding for new employees.
Ensure all required employment documentation, clearances, and certifications are completed/accurate before hire.
Assist with recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
Build relationships with colleges, workforce agencies, and community organizations to attract candidates.

Enrollment

Respond to inquiries from prospective families regarding enrollment and program availability.
Guide families through the enrollment process.
Maintain accurate enrollment records and waiting lists.
Assist with enrollment documentation and child file management.
Collaborate with leadership to monitor classroom availability and enrollment needs.

Administrative Support

Maintain confidential employee and enrollment records.
Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
Assist with special projects and administrative tasks.
Support the leadership team with recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
Maintain accurate databases and personnel files.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in business administration, recruiting, human resources, admissions, enrollment, or administrative support preferred.

Preferred Skills

Recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
Customer service or admissions experience.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in early childhood education, nonprofit organizations, or human resources is a plus.
Experience in recruiting, human resources, admissions, enrollment, or administrative support preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience using online recruiting platforms such as Indeed is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
