Advertising Sales Associate

Location: Plano, TX (In-Office)

We sell digital and community news advertising backed by the trusted reputation of some of the most recognized local publications across Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

In addition to our respected print publications, advertisers value our comprehensive suite of digital solutions, including programmatic, retargeting, email marketing, web ads and more. Businesses partner with us because we help them grow within the communities they serve.

We are expanding in North Texas, and our sales team plays a critical role in that growth.

About the Role

As an Advertising Sales Associate, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle within your territory.

This is a highly active sales role. You will be responsible for prospecting new business, reconnecting with past advertisers, leading meetings with decision makers and closing business. Success in this position comes from consistent outreach, thoughtful follow up and the confidence to ask for the business.

You will build your own pipeline, develop relationships with local Plano and DFW-area businesses and present strategic advertising solutions across both print and digital platforms. Our CRM and digital sales tools are designed to support your efforts and help you stay organized and effective.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable initiating conversations, asking the right questions, asking for the business and closing. This role is built for someone who knows how to move opportunities forward and finish deals in a professional, consistent way.

This is an on-site role based in our Plano office.

Qualifications

3 years of advertising sales experience with a track record of closing business
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Organized and disciplined with your time
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and new business development
Ability to build rapport quickly with decision makers
Desire to grow professionally and financially
