Full Job Description

Dedicated Onsite Route Driver — Full-Time

No CDL Required — We Train You.

Premier Logistics LLC is hiring a dependable Full-Time Dedicated Onsite Route Driver to work at one of our customer locations. You will be driving either a Box Truck or Cube Truck. This is a steady Monday through Friday position with very limited driving. Most of the work is moving the customer’s product back and forth on their own property using one of our cube trucks or box trucks.

This is a great fit for someone who is reliable, patient, professional, and understands the importance of checking in with the customer throughout the day.

Position Details

Job Title: Dedicated Onsite Route Driver
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Driving: Less than 10 miles per day
Location: Onsite at customer location
Weekend Work: No weekends
Holiday Requirement: If a holiday falls on a weekday, this route is mandatory to work
Holiday Pay: For this specific customer/route, holiday work is paid at time and a half plus holiday pay
CDL Required: No

What You’ll Be Doing

Work onsite at the customer’s location each day
Move customer product back and forth on their property
Drive a company cube truck for short onsite moves
Load carts onto the truck
Unload carts from the truck
Follow customer instructions and daily needs
Check in with the customer throughout the day to see if they need anything
Stay available and ready during slower periods
Keep a professional, helpful attitude at all times
Communicate any issues or delays to dispatch or management
Represent Premier Logistics professionally while working at the customer site

Important About This Role

This position may have some downtime during the day. We are looking for someone who can handle slower periods professionally, but also stay engaged by checking with the customer often and being ready when work is needed. Also will be coming to our terminal on Friday afternoons to change out paperwork and fuel truck.

The right person will not just sit and wait all day. They will be dependable, customer-focused, and willing to help whenever needed.

You will do well here if you:

Show up every day you are scheduled
Are on time and dependable
Can work independently while onsite at a customer location
Are comfortable with some downtime
Take initiative to check in with the customer
Communicate clearly and professionally
Are patient, respectful, and helpful
Can safely load and unload carts
Want steady full-time work

This job is not a good fit if you:

Call in frequently
Are late often
Need constant supervision
Do not communicate well
Are not comfortable working directly at a customer location
Are not willing to check in and ask how you can help

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record with no major violations within the past 5 years
Ability to pass a drug screening
Able to use ELD (Electronic Logging Device) for your time and DOT rules will train
Ability to load and unload carts
Comfortable driving a cube truck
Strong communication skills
Professional attitude while working onsite with the customer
Dependable attendance and punctuality

Benefits

PTO: 7 days in your first year, plus additional accrual
401(k) with company match after 6 months full-time
AFLAC available after 90 days with company contribution
Paid Holidays if on a weekend after 6 months. Any holiday during the weekday for this specific job will be paid along with overtime pay that day. Mandatory to work these holidays.
