Job Summary
This position revolves around having an intimate understanding of sales and construction. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hiring Director to lead our talent acquisition initiatives and drive the organization’s growth through a variety of recruitment methods. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end hiring process, develop innovative sourcing strategies, and foster strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners. Your knowledgeable energetic leadership will ensure we attract top-tier talent across all levels, from entry-level to executive positions, aligning staffing needs with our long-term business goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to be involved with the second largest industry on earth.

Responsibilities

- Believe and understand the mission of the company intimately enough to inspire and attract the best talent to join in our cause.
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational objectives, emphasizing proactive sourcing and long term outreach programs.
- Lead and manage a high-performing recruiting program, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance skills in technical recruiting, executive search, campus recruitment, and HR sourcing.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Utilize social media management tools and platforms to generate candidate interest and increase employer visibility across diverse channels.
- Negotiate employment contracts and employment law compliance to secure top talent while safeguarding company interests.
- Conduct research on market trends, salary benchmarks, and labor laws to inform strategic decision-making in talent acquisition efforts.
- Manage internal recruiting initiatives including employee orientation programs, employee evaluation processes, succession planning, and employee relations activities.
- Lead efforts in campus recruitment events, sales-driven outreach campaigns such as cold calling potential candidates or clients, and lead generation activities to expand talent pools.

Experience

- Proven experience in human resources or talent acquisition roles with a focus on recruiting at various organizational levels. Strong bonus if you have experience and talent recruiting sales teams, especially in D2D, or construction/home related services. Not required though.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, relationship management, research techniques, and leveraging ATS platforms.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law compliance coupled with experience managing contracts and employee relations issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while collaborating across departments.
- Experience in technical recruiting for specialized roles is highly desirable along with background in executive recruiting or campus recruitment programs.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive outlook; energetic approach to building a talented workforce is essential.
