ADTelP is looking for an energetic, AIG-Distributed Computing- Desktop Engineer to join our department and participate in the leading-edge technologies that we get to be involved with.
Looking for an energetic, motivated system administrator/engineer to join our department and participate in the leading-edge technologies that we get to be involved with.
Role includes the following:
- Draft, Review, Modify and approves design decisions,
documentation, within established level of authority prior to
implementation.
- Assists in advising client regarding IT enterprise
architecture services. Provides production problem diagnosis and technical
processes support to project team. Assists in documenting and implementing
resolution.
- Involved in system design activities and/or reviews
system designs to assure that applications solutions will exhibit expected
levels or performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate
reusability and reliability upon deployment.
Requirements:
Must meet contract level
requirements for appropriate position.
- BS degree in related field, degree may be substituted
with equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Top Secret Full Scope Polygraph Clearance (Mandatory)
- In addition, candidate should have a minimum of 5 years
technical experience.
- Technical experience should be in three or more of the
following areas:
- Microsoft Windows XP/7, Windows Thin PC, Embedded OS on
Thin-Client Devices
- (HP and Wyse a plus), 5220 emulation software,
Desktop/Local Policies,
- 32 bit/ 64 bit technology, Wireless Network Devices and
End-Points, MS IIS, MS IE interfacing and embedding (MSHTML,
- Web Browser Control), MS IE Extensions – Browser Helper
Objects (BHO), ActiveX Controls, Toolbars,
- MS XML parser (MSXML), MS Office COM add-ins and other
Microsoft Technologies, OpenGL API, MS Visual Studio (6.0, 2003, 2005,
2008),
- InstallShield MSI development, VMware Workstation,
WinPE, , MDT, USMT, Altiris, Ghost, Matrix 42, Big Fix, SCCM, BBCA
(Marmiba).
- Knowledge of Citrix Technologies (Xen), VDI
Technologies,
- VMware Technologies and integration/design methods a
plus.
- Should be an energetic self-starter;
- Should possess a knowledge of systems administration,
networking, client/server applications, and hardware configuration;
- Should possess good analytical and problem solving
skills to troubleshoot system problems;
- Should be comfortable before an audience of peers
and/or seniors; should possess exceptional verbal and written
communication skills.
