We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Vibration Analyst within our Pasadena Plant located in Pasadena, TX .

Essential Job Duties:

Vibration data collection and analysis
Timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations
Provide troubleshooting support and solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration patterns and incorporating other process information such as pressures, temperatures, flows, sound, etc.
Maintain vibration database
Support the development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring
Repair shop acceptance testing as needed
Provide call out coverage as needed
Assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence
Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Millwrights and Vibration Technicians

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
ISO Category II Certification from a accredited certification provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc)
2 or more years of vibration monitoring experience including solving machine problems using vibration analysis
Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications.
Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to read, speak, and write English.
Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and a good working knowledge of SAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Good working knowledge of SAP.
