Full Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and organized design stringer to support our design team. This hands-on role focuses primarily on stringing jewelry, assembling designs, and supporting the production process under the direction of our Senior Creative Lead. You will also assist with organizing materials and preparing products for trade shows and sales presentations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in creating high-quality products. The position begins part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

String necklaces and assemble jewelry with accuracy and consistency and speed.
Prepare materials and components for production.
Assist with jewelry repairs and quality control.
Organize gemstones, findings, samples, and inventory.
Document materials and maintain accurate production records.
Support product development by preparing samples and organizing design materials.
Help prepare inventory and displays for trade shows and trunk shows.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Required Skills

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to accurately perform duties under pressure, and to meet deadlines, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Team player with positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to communicate professionally with team members.
Ability to to carry out instructions from Senior Creative Lead.
Thorough knowledge of gemstones and materials used for design.
Learn new techniques necessary to the production of new designs.
Ability to accept constructive criticism & provide helpful feedback.

Qualifications:

Experience with jewelry stringing, beading, jewelry assembly. Ability to use wire wrap, knot, silk & crimp. Any leather work experience is a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

2+ years related experience and/or training

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
