Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Application Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level mainframe solutions. This pivotal role involves architecting scalable, secure, and efficient systems that integrate seamlessly with modern cloud and distributed computing environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mainframe architecture, software development, and system integration, with a focus on leveraging contemporary technologies such as NoSQL databases, cloud computing platforms, and service-oriented architecture. This position offers an opportunity to influence strategic technology directions and deliver innovative solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of VSAM and Hierarchical database structures
Required Skills:
Technical knowledge and experience with mainframe technology. COBOL 10years, CICS 10 yrs, VSAM 10yrs, and
JCL (10yrs.)

Knowledge and experience in converting data from one application to another (10 yrs.)
Successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility
Analyzing feasibility, compatibility and cost of solutions
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Desired skills:
Knowledge of FARS application
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to engage business experts in the purpose and use of data in the Benefit Payment Application
