Position: Manufacturing Apprentice
Reports to: Supervisor and/or Manager.
The Industrial Maintenance Parts/PO Clerk is responsible for overseeing maintenance parts inventory, processing purchase orders, and ensuring efficient supply chain management for maintenance-related materials. This role involves coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory levels, managing purchasing documentation, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the maintenance department.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance parts inventory, including stock levels, usage, and reorder points.
Purchase Order Processing:
Generate purchase orders based on requisitions, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of parts and materials.
Monitor order status, track deliveries, and communicate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
Maintain a database of approved vendors, including contact information, terms, and negotiated agreements.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and other procurement-related documentation.

Supervisory responsibilities: NA
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises.
All safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory.
