Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive efficiency, optimize inventory management, and implement innovative logistics solutions to support our company's growth and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination across procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, leveraging advanced enterprise solutions and data analysis to inform decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our supply chain strategy and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals, emphasizing lean manufacturing principles and enterprise solutions implementation.
Oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order management using SAP, Oracle EBS, and other ERP systems.
Lead demand planning and production scheduling activities to ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste through lean manufacturing techniques.
Manage logistics operations encompassing transportation, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control to guarantee timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Implement and maintain advanced software tools such as SAP ERP, SQL databases, and enterprise solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize plant management, production planning, and materials requirement planning (MRP).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics inventory management, warehouse processes, and supply chain workflows to boost productivity.
Lead cross-functional teams through software implementations related to ERP systems, demand forecasting tools, and logistics platforms.

Skills

Extensive experience with SAP (including SAP ERP), Oracle EBS, and other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, demand planning, production scheduling, and MRP systems.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and Excel for detailed reporting and performance metrics tracking.
Demonstrated expertise in logistics management, warehouse operations, procurement strategies, and supply chain optimization.
Proven track record of implementing enterprise solutions that improve operational efficiency across manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic decision-making in supply chain management.
