Responsibility as a Program Manager- Product Development
Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, the Program Manager- Product Development will serve as an integral part of the Product Development team, responsible for driving consistent processes across all Red Book Connect Products. This position will own a variety of internal programs and focus on the implementation of tools and policies to ensure consistency amongst the products.

This role requires an ability to think critically, iterate quickly, provide exceptional thought leadership, and to partner across a wide variety of functions at Red Book Connect to drive change across the product development organization.

Drives teams to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage programs to meet objectives, timelines, and priorities set by the business.
Act as the central administrator for JIRA and Confluence across 4+ product lines.
Seek opportunities for innovation and collaboration with other teams to improve existing processes or establish new ones.
Detail oriented, but able to identify and communicate the biggest issues.
Ability to manage multiple programs with competing priorities across worldwide based talent in multiple time zones.
Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
Decisive, action-oriented attitude; able and willing to own issues and drive resolution.
Find, resolve or escalate issues before they become blockers.
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with technical and non-technical team members alike.
Improve visibility into organizational objectives and priorities through information sharing, communication, and collaborative working relationships.

Experience with the following is a plus:

Restaurant industry experience
Professional Services, Customer Support or other customer-facing experience a plus.
Management of outside partners/vendors and driving programs with them
BI tools for reporting metrics and trends
Proficiency in working with engineering teams to design, scope, and shepherd features.

Qualifications:

Only Austin, TX based candidates will be considered.
3+ years of experience in project or program management roles
Significant experience working with and administering Atlassian products, especially JIRA and Confluence
Experience with Agile Development methodologies
Excellent track record of successfully managing SaaS product development programs; keen understanding of the SaaS business model and its product development lifecycle.
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills conducive to collaboration
Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs.
Experience creating executive-facing content
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Travel possible but not required
B.A. or B.S. degree
