Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk and within clinical settings. This vital role combines patient-centered administrative support with hands-on clinical tasks, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. Whether managing appointments or maintaining accurate records, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for patients and supporting healthcare providers in delivering top-quality services.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and verify their information to facilitate seamless check-in processes.
Collect and record patient histories and current medications accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Manage appointment scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow.
Ensure a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, verifying insurance information, and coordinating referrals or tests.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient care.
Experience working in outpatient/inpatient settings.
Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling purposes.
Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
Competence in handling intake procedures efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
