Role Overview:

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, uphold quality standards, and provide exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a one-of-a-kind environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
Supervise and motivate staff to deliver excellent service. Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and providing guidance and support to our team of passionate staff members.
Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and sanitary environment for both guests and staff.
Ensure adherence to high-quality standards in food and beverage service, maintaining Nerdvana's reputation as a top-tier dining destination.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management in a full-service setting.
Passion for gaming and familiarity with video game culture is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with POS systems.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
