The Department of Counseling at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan is seeking applicants for a Tenure-Track position in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health or School Counseling), as either the assistant or associate professor rank. The position is a full-time appointment with the possibility of summer teaching starting January 6, 2026. Responsibilities include teaching, research, and service activities. We will begin reviewing applications on November 3, 2025 and continue reviewing applications until the position is filled. 1. Teach courses at the masters and doctoral-levels
- Teach across the CACREP curriculum including clinical courses
- Advise students and supervise doctoral student dissertations
Engage with curriculum planning and development

- Engage in an active and sustained research agenda
- Mentor and engage in collaborative research and scholarship with students
Foster an environment of intellectual curiosity

- Engage in service assignments at the Department, School, and University level
